Baked Chicken with Bechamel Sauce Recipe

Bechamel is one of the special sauces that add to recipes a delicious flavor, it is possible to prepare it in an easy and fast way at home, one of the recipes that can be prepared using the bechamel is dish stew chicken, mushrooms and chicken tray with bechamel.


  • Kilo chicken breasts (without bone).
  • Half a cup of mushrooms.
  • A glass of corn.
  • Medium onion, cut into slices.
  • Two and a half cups of Bechamel.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil.
  • Teaspoon salt.
  • Half teaspoon ground black pepper.

Bechamel ingredients:

  • Two cups of liquid milk.
  • 2 tablespoons of flour.
  • 2 tablespoons of butter.

How to Make it:

Cut the chicken into medium-sized square pieces.
Fry the onions with olive oil and add salt, pepper, mushrooms, and corn, stir until the onions wither, then add the chicken.
Prepare the bechamel (it is possible to use the cream), to prepare the bechamel melt the butter on the fire then add the flour to it, mix well to remove the blocks of flour and leave it on fire while stirring until bubbles appear, then remove it from the fire & add milk with constant stirring.
Add the bechamel sauce over the chicken and let it boil with it.
Serve the chicken with bechamel in a dish next to rice or pasta.
